Weight Loss and Metabolic Diet

According to the National Institute of Health, the average American gains three pounds per year. This weight gain can be attributed to a number of causes, including medical reasons why some people gain weight and have a hard time losing it, crave certain foods, and burn calories slower than others. Weight gain may be due to food allergies or sensitivities, hormonal imbalance, depletion of minerals and other nutrients, insulin resistance, etc. At RevitaLife, we offer a wide range of tests to help you determine the cause of your weight gain.

When the cause has been determined, we can offer a patient-tailored and physician-supervised weight loss program that gets rid of excess weight and methods to nonsurgically re-sculpt your body to reduce stubborn localized fat deposits around your waist, hips, thighs, upper arms, and back.

CONCIERGE WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Obesity has become a global epidemic, including here in the U.S. where two out of every three Americans are either overweight or obese. Obesity contributes to conditions that are among the leading causes of death, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some cancers.

Your weight is the result of a combination of factors, primarily genetics, food choices, and life style.

  • Genetics. Often overlooked as a contributing factor to obesity, your complex genetic makeup is a powerful influence on how your body responds to hunger, cravings, and emotions. By changing the neurotransmitters that control these responses, it becomes possible to maintain a healthy weight.
  • Food Choices. Not only is our culture increasingly food-oriented with multitudes of food options all around us, but also we make poor food selections that contribute to the obesity problem.
  • Life Style. Our fast-paced and more sedentary life styles become so much a part of our routine that we neglect to get needed exercise for our health.

Concierge Weight Management is a realistic and manageable program whereby weight loss is customized for you based on your genetics. If you are hungry all the time, have a slow metabolism, and are a binge, stress, or hormonal eater, these may be genetically-based patterns that can be modified in the Concierge Weight Management program.

If you have made a commitment to gain control of your health and appearance through improved nutrition, weight, and health, this program is right for you. The program replaces fad diets by designing a specific plan for you that uses a combination of FDA-approved drugs, proper diet, and healthy living:

  • Weight Control Drugs. The new generation of weight control includes Phentrix™, a patent-pending custom formulated treatment program that uses FDA-approved drugs for weight management.
  • Proper Diet. Two rules apply in the Concierge Weight Management program: (1) eating only fresh, real food, rather than foods that are advertised as low fat, low calorie, or diet foods, and (2) eating a low carbohydrate diet of no more than 50 grams of carbs per day. Best results are obtained by eating a large breakfast, not skipping any meals, and eating all the high protein foods you wish. High protein foods include meat, chicken, fish, cheese, and nuts.
  • Healthy Living. Don’t like to exercise? Many of us shy away from formalized exercise programs or excessive workouts at the gym, but there is an exercise program for you. That program is simply to do whatever it is that you enjoy—walking, biking, swimming, dancing—for 30 minutes three times per week. Now that can fit into anyone’s schedule! Healthy living also includes staying hydrated by drinking eight glasses of water a day. Also permitted on the program are tea, coffee, artificially sweetened beverages, light beer, low carb wine, and distilled spirits.

The Concierge Weight Management program is a customized medical weight loss package that includes an initial physical exam, labs/blood panel, body mass index (BMI), EKG, and a two-week supply of customized compounded medication to assist in your weight loss goals.

While many spend entire lifetimes trying the latest diets, living with obesity, and compromising their health, Concierge Weight Management is a program that can benefit your overall health while achieving remarkable weight loss. THE HCG DIET

At RevitaLife, we support a 30-day diet program called the HCG metabolic diet. Formally introduced in the 1950s but gaining popularity because of its effectiveness, the HCG diet has two major components:

  • A very low calorie diet (500 calories per day) of lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables
  • The hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), taken sublingually or by injection

It is the combination of these two components that forces the body to use stored fat, especially from those areas that have unwanted and unneeded fat – hips, belly, thighs, and butt – while causing no loss of muscle or structural fat.

The HCG diet program dramatically increases metabolism by resetting the hormones produced by the hypothalamus and results in quick weight loss, averaging up to one pound per day. After two to four weeks on the program, our patients lose on average of 10 to 20 pounds, most of which is fat loss. Seventy percent of patients using this method do not gain the weight back one year later. Tolerance to the program is excellent and, depending on personal weight loss goals, many patients willingly commit to a second round of treatment.

Because the human body stores most of its toxins in fat, the toxins are released into the body as fat levels are reduced. For this reason, we advise patients to undergo a detoxification program after completion of the diet.
